Gigi Castano is a Colombian-American born and raised in Queens, NY. She has played many roles both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.  Her goals are to understand the major functions of media production, develop her onscreen abilities and make acting her career focus.  Having graduated with Dual Bachelor Degrees in Media Studies and English, Gigi has a working knowledge of the media/entertainment world.  She translated her education into two successful internships with VH1 and HITN, which led to positions as a production assistant. To further hone her understanding of the media world, as well as her on-screen personality, Gigi has taken acting classes at Queens College, TVI ActorsStudios and BIH Studios.

 

Whether in front of the camera or on stage, Gigi Castano has demonstrated an innate ability to standout, and perform.  From her time working as an MC, she has shown the ability to captivate and entertain large audiences. Gigi has acted in several student projects and has been an on screen host.  She has also performed on stage as a Selena Quintanilla impersonator. Whether it be her abilities as an actress, her sex appeal as a model, or her unique blend of Latin personality and determination, Gigi stands out from the crowd and steps into her roles passionately.
